Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cowanesque Valley). Everything went their way against the Oswayo Valley Green Wave on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-2 win. Considering the Indians have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Lilah LaBarron, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Zeraya Wilson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Cowanesque Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cowanesque Valley's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Oswayo Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cowanesque Valley will take on Williamson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Oswayo Valley, they will challenge Bucktail at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
