Football Game Recap: Stratton/Liberty vs. Idalia

Stratton/Liberty put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Idalia 59-22. That looming 37-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Stratton/Liberty yet.

Stratton/Liberty's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 42 points in the first half. Idalia countered with 8 points, leaving the score at 42-8 going into the half. The Stratton/Liberty defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The victory bumped Stratton/Liberty's record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Idalia's record to 3-2.

Stratton/Liberty will be playing at home against Granada at at 7:00 PM next week. Granada have averaged 61 points over the course of their past five games, so Stratton/Liberty might be in for a challenge. As for Idalia, they will face off against Arickaree/Woodlin.
