Soccer Recap: Oakleaf Comes Up Short

Oakleaf managed to keep up with Tocoi Creek until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Knights lost 4-0 to the Toros. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Oakleaf's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Oakleaf's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Tocoi Creek, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1.

Oakleaf and Tocoi Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Knights (ranked 215th) will meet Orange Park (ranked 461st) at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tocoi Creek will take on Beachside at 7:20 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (19 vs. 84).
