League recap: T.W. Andrews tops Webb to extend winning streak

T.W. Andrews extended the longest winning streak in 2A PAC 6 this week by beating Webb, 44-8. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Wheatmore and Southwestern Randolph played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Wheatmore eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.

Randleman's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Zach Dunbar has thrown for 925 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Juval Mollette has 29 catches for 510 yards. Chris Allen leads the league in rushing with 709 yards.

Two of the top units in 2A PAC 6 will face off this week when Randleman takes on Trinity. The Tigers' offense has recorded 146 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Bulldogs have permitted only 198 on the year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Atkins takes on T.W. Andrews. As it stands, Atkins is in fourth, while Rodney Mckoy's team is in first.

The Warriors made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,757 from 12,605. The improvement came about via a 26-21 victory over the Cougars last week.
