Soccer Game Preview: Grace Academy vs. Covenant Classical

Grace Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Queen's Grant. The victory continues a trend for Grace Academy in their matchups with Queen's Grant: they've now won three in a row.

Ellie Allen and Avary Swinehart scored both of Grace Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Covenant Classical made easy work of Woodlawn on Friday and carried off a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for Covenant Classical, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Grace Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-3. As for Covenant Classical, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Grace Academy got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Covenant Classical by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
