Baseball Recap: West Marshall Triumphs

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when West Marshall and Roland-Story meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Trojans walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Norsemen. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Norsemen: they've now won seven in a row.

West Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Roland-Story, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Marshall will welcome Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roland-Story, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Lincoln at 5:15 p.m.
