The Pioneer Mustangs will square off against the Prospect Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pioneer will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Pioneer got the win against Gunderson by a conclusive 3-0.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pioneer was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.

Pioneer relied on the efforts of Ella Rhyasen, who had 55 assists and eight digs, and Eva Rhyasen, who had 29 assists and five aces. That's the most aces Eva has posted since back in September.
They weren't the only good servers: Pioneer was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Prospect, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Gilroy by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
While Prospect might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Gilroy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 21-25, 25-23, 25-18.
Pioneer better focus on containing Shyla Wang and Thien Tran as the pair were huge in Prospect's win. Wang had 21 digs, while Tran had five digs and five aces.
Pioneer now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Prospect, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Pioneer came up short against Prospect when the teams last played back in September of 2022, falling 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
