Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-Point Chargers vs. Armstrong Trojans + How To Watch

Tri-Point hasn't had much luck against Armstrong recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chargers will take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Tri-Point came up short against Lexington and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Armstrong didn't have quite enough to beat Fieldcrest on Saturday and fell 2-1. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-15 in the first set.

Armstrong started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Tri-Point, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Tri-Point couldn't quite get it done against Armstrong in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
