Soccer Recap: Belen Takes a Loss

Belen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the St. Pius X Sartans. While losing is never fun, Belen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while St. Pius X are ranked tenth).

Belen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for St. Pius X, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Belen wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Highland on the 25th. As for St. Pius X, they have also already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Grants on the 25th.
