Meanwhile, Jenkins County played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 73-49 to Portal. The War Eagles were down 60-36 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Metter's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Jenkins County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
