Basketball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

If Greenville was feeling good fresh off their 69-29 takedown of Campbell last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greenville Bears were outmatched by the Doniphan Dons and fell 54-15. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Dons: they've now lost nine in a row.

Greenville's loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Gracyn Hill and Presley Walk. Hill posted five points and five boards, while Walk put up no points.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Doniphan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Greenville will take on Dexter in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Doniphan, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Puxico at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
