Basketball Recap: Wossman Beats Abbeville for Their Eighth Straight Win

Wossman had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past Abbeville to the tune of 86-53 on Tuesday. Given Wossman's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Abbeville is ranked 120th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Wossman's eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points over those games. As for Abbeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-17.
