Basketball Game Preview: May Tigers vs. Lingleville Cardinals

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, May was beaten by Roscoe 69-37.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lingleville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged Ballinger out 57-55.

Lingleville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for May, their loss dropped their record down to 29-3.

May was able to grind out a solid victory over Lingleville in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 49-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for May since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
