Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newton). They blew past the Boone Toreadors 97-54 on Monday. With the Cardinals ahead 50-26 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Newton pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Boone, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Newton will take on Pella in a tournament on Thursday. Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
