Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Puget Sound Adventist). They managed a 35-29 win over the Rainier Christian Mustangs on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Sharks as it spelled an end to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Rainier Christian lost, don't look at Nola Russell. Despite the final result, she posted 23 points. Those 23 points gave Russell a new career-high.

Puget Sound Adventist's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Rainier Christian, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Puget Sound Adventist will challenge Easton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rainier Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
