Softball Recap: Cypress Centurions vs. Crean Lutheran Saints
In what's become a running theme this season, Cypress gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They never let the Crean Lutheran Saints onto the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Cypress as they're now sitting on five straight.
Maddie Granados was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Granados was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4.
In other batting news, Taylor Monteleone was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in the last three games she's played. Breana Townsend was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
Cypress has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a massive bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Crean Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.
