Soccer Game Preview: East River vs. Wekiva

The East River Falcons will head out to square off against the Wekiva Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East River's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

East River fell victim to Timber Creek and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against Wolves, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while Wolves are ranked 92nd).

Meanwhile, Wekiva didn't have quite enough to beat Oak Ridge on Monday and fell 3-2. The Mustangs have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Wekiva's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for East River, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
