Clayton is a perfect 10-0 against Southeast Raleigh since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Clayton will take on Southeast Raleigh at 4:30 p.m. Southeast Raleigh took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Clayton, who comes in off a win.

Clayton's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against Garner by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clayton.

Cecilia Trader and Adyson Phromsavanh scored both of Clayton's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to Fuquay - Varina. While losing is never fun, Southeast Raleigh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 431st, while Fuquay - Varina are ranked 105th).

Southeast Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clayton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Clayton took their victory against Southeast Raleigh when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clayton since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
