Softball Game Preview: El Dorado Aztecs vs. Ingleside Mustangs

The El Dorado Aztecs will be taking part in a tournament against the Ingleside Mustangs at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

El Dorado is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Langham Creek on Thursday. They came up short against the Lobos, falling 14-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Aztecs have suffered since April 7, 2025.

Meanwhile, Ingleside got the win against Caldwell on Thursday by a conclusive 7-1.

Ingleside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dara Davila, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another was Ruby Eppard, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Ingleside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Caldwell only posted a batting average of .143.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ingleside, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
