Basketball Game Preview: Treynor Cardinals vs. AHSTW Vikings

Treynor and AHSTW are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Treynor Cardinals are taking a road trip to square off against the AHSTW Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Treynor knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully AHSTW likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Treynor took their match with ease, bagging a 60-33 victory over Underwood.

Meanwhile, AHSTW came up short against Tri-Center on Tuesday and fell 70-58. The Vikings have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Treynor's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for AHSTW, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything came up roses for Treynor against AHSTW in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 79-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Treynor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
