Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Hagerman's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Hagerman's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the New Mexico Military Institute Colts by a score of 70-59. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Colts two weeks ago, they had to take a 65-63 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hagerman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Felix Chacon, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Chacon has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jevon Aguilar, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds.

Hagerman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 15 consecutive matches.
