Bryce Harper, Gerrit Cole and Joe Mauer among the top names over the past 20 years of No. 1 picks in the MLB Draft
Video: Jason Groome highlights
New Jersey standout could be first high school pitcher taken in MLB Draft.
When Bryce Harper was available for the Washington Nationals in 2010 at No. 1 overall, it was all but a for sure thing he would turn out to be a future All-Star.
For other ball clubs over the past 20 years, the No. 1 pick has not turned out to be a game-changer for the organization.
