            Softball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers vs. Lincoln-Way Central Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Bradley-Bourbonnais made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lincoln-Way Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Boilermakers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-1), but sadly  the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The  loss   continues a  trend for them in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Bradley-Bourbonnais saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Tristin Woods, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their win was  their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 26-1.
 Looking ahead, Bradley-Bourbonnais will challenge Lincoln-Way East at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Boilermakers 3, the Griffins 2.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will venture away from home to  take on Downers Grove South  at 4:45  p.m.  on Monday.
