There's no place like home for Mountain View, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Mesa Jackrabbits 46-7 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Toros needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Brady Goodman went supernova, throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. Another player making a difference was Talan Arnett, who picked up 122 receiving yards and one score.

Another reason for the win was Mountain View's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. They received some extra help from Parker Foster, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

The win got Mountain View back to even at 1-1. As for Mesa, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
