Soccer Recap: Fort Collins Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Northridge on Tuesday, Fort Collins came back down to earth. The Lambkins fell just short of the Broomfield Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for Fort Collins in their meetings with Broomfield: they've now lost seven in a row.

Jack McGuirk and Taylor Wilcox scored both of Fort Collins' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Fort Collins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Broomfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Fort Collins will be playing at home against Ralston Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ralston Valley's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Fort Collins' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Broomfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Mountain Vista on the 9th.
