St. Xavier had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 62-54 victory over the Warren Central Dragons.

St. Xavier's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Warren Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

St. Xavier and St. Joseph will round out the year against one another at 11:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Warren Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bowling Green at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
