Riverview Sarasota is 8-2 against Braden River since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Riverview Sarasota is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Southeast get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rams with their most commanding win of the season.
Olivia Stacey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).

In other batting news, Allison Cole was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Sierra Lipton, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4.
Riverview Sarasota was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .733. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Braden River fell victim to Venice and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 19-0 to the Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Riverview Sarasota pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Braden River, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
