Volleyball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Takes a Loss

Goodman-Pembine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roncalli Jets.

Jolie Seidel paced Goodman-Pembine's offense, picking up three kills. Seidel got some help from Lauryn Dwight and her three assists. Finally, Dwight was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high ten blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Erin Panosh, who had 12 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Goodman-Pembine's loss dropped their record down to 1-28. As for Roncalli, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.

Goodman-Pembine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Southern Door on the 11th. As for Roncalli, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Brillion on the 11th.
