Softball Recap: Miller Takes a Loss

Miller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Gregory-Portland Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 14-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Miller saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Campos, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. That's the most stolen bases Campos has posted over her last 15 games.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Gregory-Portland, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-6.

Miller didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-2 loss against King on the 11th. As for Gregory-Portland, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-1 win against Ray on the 11th.
