Volleyball Recap: Greencastle-Antrim Find Success

Greencastle-Antrim saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Covenant Christian Academy.

Greencastle-Antrim easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Kylie Kerns and Abigail Eagler, who picked up six kills apiece. Kerns also shared the team's lead in assists with Kaitlyn Alvey: they picked up eight each. Chloe Young controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Greencastle-Antrim's win bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Greencastle-Antrim didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Cocalico on the 30th. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lititz Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
