On Saturday Silver Creek's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Evansville Memorial Tigers. The five-run effort marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The team relied heavily on Lola Hall, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Whitlock, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Silver Creek's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Evansville Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Silver Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Henryville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Evansville Memorial, they will venture away from home to square off against South Spencer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
