Baseball Recap: Carlson Takes a Loss

Carlson fell victim to Utica Ford and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Marauders just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Carlson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Eighmey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double was Eighmey's first of the season.

Carlson's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Utica Ford, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Coming up, Carlson will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Wayland at 3:00 p.m. As for Utica Ford, they will welcome Romeo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
