Baseball Recap: Poly Finds Home Field Redemption Against Patriot

There's no place like home for Poly, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Patriot Warriors on Tuesday.

Jacob Batcha tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Poly's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mayan De Nava, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another was Matthew Henry, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
