Baseball Recap: Stoneham Comes Up Short

After flying high against Watertown on Friday, Stoneham came back down to earth. The Spartans fell 7-2 to the Swampscott Big Blue on Monday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Big Blue recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Stoneham now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Swampscott, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Stoneham will welcome Lexington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Swampscott, they will head out on the road to square off against Winthrop at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
