Recap: Rawlins Outlaws vs. Sheridan Broncs
The Rawlins Outlaws's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They lost to Sheridan at home by a decisive 62-48 margin. Rawlins lost against Sheridan in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 46-29 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Rawlins lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jose Morales. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with 5 rebounds. Morales scored a full 43.8% of Rawlins' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxson Allard, who scored 6 points along with 6 assists.
Rawlins' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sheridan, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rawlins will square off against Green River at 7:40 p.m. on Thursday. Sheridan will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Buffalo at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th.
