Matt McCliman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

McCliman's effort led Chino Hills over Upland and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Highlanders/Scots are limping into the matchup having lost 17 straight on the road dating back to last season.
