Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Interlachen). Everything went their way against the West Oaks Academy Flame on Friday as they made off with  a  38-18 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their seven-point performance the  matchup before.
 Interlachen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Lawrence Sharp led the charge by picking up 153 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs. Sharp showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 61 yards.  DJ McKinnon was another key player, rushing for 107 yards and one  score on only 12 carries.
The  victory snapped Interlachen's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 2-4 record. As for West Oaks Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Interlachen will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Branford at 7:30  p.m.  on October 3. The Buccaneers' defense has only allowed 14.6  points per game  this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for West Oaks Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  30-0  loss against Zarephath Academy on the 26th.
