Soccer Game Preview: Powhatan vs. Louisa County

The Powhatan Indians will take on the Louisa County Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After dropping their season opener at home, Louisa County is headed out to face a Powhatan team ready to give their home crowd a win. Powhatan took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mechanicsville on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Louisa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Chancellor. That's two games in a row now that Louisa County have lost by exactly two goals.

Powhatan beat Louisa County 3-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2019. Does Powhatan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Louisa County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
