The Fairfield Lions stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 63-27 victory over Whiteoak at home. The win was familiar territory for Fairfield who now have three in a row.
Larkin Friend continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan McIntosh, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Fairfield's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 20-3. As for Whiteoak, they dropped their record down to 6-18 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road.
Fairfield will be playing at home against Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Manchester has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Whiteoak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
