Recap: Wilson Wildcats vs. South Hills Huskies        
        
		
            
 The Wilson Wildcats came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a  38-34 W over South Hills. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wilson also won the last time the pair played  back in January of 2023.
 Wilson found their leader in underclassman  Justin Kayode, who  scored 14 points along with nine  rebounds and five  steals. The  game was  Kayode's 12th in a row with at least ten points.  Jonathan Chan was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with seven  rebounds.
 Wilson is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for South Hills, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 9-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Diamond Bar at 6:30  p.m.  on January 11th. One thing working in Diamond Bar's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last seven contests. As for South Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walnut at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Walnut is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last nine games.
