Basketball Recap: H-L-V Takes a Loss

H-L-V lost against Montezuma back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The H-L-V Warriors were beaten by the Montezuma Braves 71-33. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for H-L-V and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Montezuma, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

H-L-V will take on Iowa Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Iowa Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Montezuma, they will challenge Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
