Volleyball Recap: Compton Comes Up Short

Compton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Jordan Panthers. If the Tarbabes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Compton had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-19.

Compton's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Compton will venture away from home to square off against Cabrillo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jordan, they will head out to challenge Millikan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
