After a string of seven wins, Eagle Ridge Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Classical Christian Academy Hawks. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 10-25, 25-21.

Eagle Ridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Heritage Classical Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-1.

Eagle Ridge Christian and Heritage Classical Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Eagles see the court they'll take on Zalma at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Heritage Classical Christian Academy, their break will end when they face Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th.
