Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Eliot Trainor and Katie Kockos Lead Design Tech to Victory + How To Watch

Design Tech's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pacific Bay Christian Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Design Tech won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-19.

Design Tech was led to victory by Katie Kockos and Eliot Trainor. Kockos had 20 digs and two aces, while Trainor had eight digs and two aces. Those 20 digs gave Kockos a new career-high. Arianna Kahn also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

The win got Design Tech back to even at 8-8. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Design Tech will host The Nueva School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mavericks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they will challenge Summit Shasta at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
