Julia Lambert Game Report: vs San Ramon Valley

Alameda had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Julia Lambert sure wasn't going down easily. Lambert was unstoppable, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024.

Coming up, Lambert and Alameda will challenge Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Lambert's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Alameda's three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Lambert and Alameda surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
