Baseball Recap: Poly Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Poly's offense. They fell just short of the San Fernando Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Parrots have suffered since April 15th.

With the defeat, Poly broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-12. As for San Fernando, their record is now 10-15.

Looking ahead, San Fernando will host Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Poly will be paying especially close attention to San Fernando's matchup: after San Fernando faces off against Kennedy, they'll take on Poly again at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
