Football Recap: Deerfield Academy Takes a Loss

Deerfield Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 34-20 bruising from the Salisbury School Crimson Knights. The Big Green were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Deerfield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Salisbury School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Deerfield Academy will face off against rival Williston Northampton at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Salisbury School is set to square off against their familiar foe Phillips Exeter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
