Soccer Recap: Naples Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Naples was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Golden Gate Titans who were credited with the victory. The Golden Gate Titans got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Naples Golden Eagles' six. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Golden Gate this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in December of 2025.

Naples' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Golden Gate, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1-2.

Naples has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Cypress Lake on the 12th. As for Golden Gate, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 win against Neumann on the 13th.
