Southeast barely beat Northwest the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Buffalo's defense stepped up to hand the Grizzlies an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering Southeast have won five games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Southeast's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2.

Coincidentally, Southeast and Northwest will both be playing Kapaun Mt. Carmel the next time they take the pitch. The Grizzlies will head out to face the Crusaders on Tuesday, while the Golden Buffalo will host them on Thursday.
