Basketball Recap: Flandreau Takes a Loss

Flandreau lost against Dell Rapids back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Flandreau Fliers lost to the Dell Rapids Quarriers at home by a 53-38 margin. The Fliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dell Rapids to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karson Paye, who went 6 for 15 to rack up 17 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Those eight boards gave Paye a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Anderson, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points.

Flandreau's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Dell Rapids, their record now sits at 9-7.

Flandreau has already played their next game, a 55-53 defeat against Sioux Valley on the 6th. As for Dell Rapids, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-35 victory against Tri-Valley on the 6th.
